How exciting to be starting my very first blog with such a beautiful image!
I cannot think of a better way to represent the essence of what I hope this blog can contribute.
The artist responsible is Valerie Roberts from Daylesford, Victoria. Valerie and her husband Roger have just opened a studio and gallery at their property. They recently had an opening and this sold straight away. Not surprising.
For those of you who have admired Valerie's other work, you may want to take a look at this. It is called "Road to Creswick". A little hard to quite capture it's detail in this photograph.

My sister set up a blog for me and I didn't really get it - she's way more internet savvy - so I had a sort of on and off again affair with it but now I've met more peeps it's been really great fun!! Hope you have a heap of fun too. xo

I love the "this" that "sold straight away". The colours are just exquisite. Is Valerie likely to turn her talents to more works like this? If she does, I would be delighted to see some more images before they are all "sold straight away" again. N
